
Gilda succeeds at ending with Fox's life, freeing Toya from him. By the end of the chapter, the conflict is resolved. Gilda is struggling to save Toya's life since Fox is trying to kill Toya and whoever gets in his way of doing so.

Gilda has come to learn some of the lessons of life in being a vampire. We also learn that Gilda has come to be wiser ever since Bird left. We learn that Gilda has moved from homes and that she now owns a beauty shop.
